Topics include - Understanding the fundamental spiritual and natural principles that determine our health and defeat physical, mental and spiritual disease, Swasthavritta - the living of Ayurvedic lifestyle, Ahara Vijnana - the science of Ayurvedic dietics, understanding and evoking the Dharma of Self Healing. Meditations on healthy Self within, initiating inner wisdom with Vedic Mantras, facilitating Ayurveda learning through sadhana, tapas, sattva shuddhi, yajna, seva, sangha and three modes of learning inside a Gurukula (all Sanskrit concepts will be explained at length in class.
Class Logistics - Classes will be held on Monday Nights, 6:00 - 9:00 PM on October 6th, 13th, 20th; November 3rd, 10th and 17th. We recommend that you attend all these classes and sign up for the entire series for greatest benefit. The total cost is $ 240. You can also pay as you go and the cost per class is $ 45. You can make up for the missed classes by listening to recorded CDs. Tea with light snacks will be served.
