Join Vedika’s Two-Month Ayurveda Self Care Course

Open to all. This course is especially designed for beginners. This Course is taught by Vedika's Acharya, Chef Sanjai, and our Associate Teachers.

Learn the Ayurvedic path to living well. The Ayurveda Self Care Course is a powerful two-month experience with a focus on health optimization and disease prevention. This course can change your health and your life for the better, forever. We offer a sequential series of teachings in Ayurveda lifestyle, foods, cooking, home remedies, emotional health and whole person healing experiences.

Vedika Global’s unique healing environment and tranquil surroundings offer many opportunities for you to relax, reflect, meditate and rejuvenate. Support by accessible teachers and senior students add to the warmth of this health immersion experience. Each student will receive a delightful seasonally appropriate Ayurvedic dinner from our teaching kitchen before each class.

2-Month Course At A Glance

Course Curriculum covers following topics:

  • Prakriti: your unique mind-body constitution
  • Doshas: how to avoid Doshas from getting out of balance, how to bring them back to balance
  • Ayurveda Psychology
  • Spiritually uplifting discourses on Vedanta and teachings of Yoga Asanas, Pranayama, Mudras and Mantras
  • Daily cooking demonstrations of traditional healing recipes that  equip you with confidence in your own home kitchen
  • Designing a personalized healthy Ayurveda lifestyle

Entry Requirements:

High School diploma or University degree required. Applicants who do not meet the above admission requirements but are currently employed in the area of health promotion may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Dates and Times :

January 14, 2015 - March 18, 2015
Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6:00-9:00pm

New Student Orientation: Friday, January 9, 2015 6:45-8:45pm

First Day of Academic Year: Wednesday, January 14, 2015

All students will be welcomed during the annual Makar Sankranti Festival celebrating the beginning of the academic year. The entire school will be invited to collectively perform a Vedic ritual for an auspicious start to self healing education. Please arrive no later than 6:00pm.

Weekend Intensives: The first weekend of each month from 9:00am-5:00pm

All School Retreat: Sunday, February 22nd (details TBA)


Assessment consists of class participation, presentations, group projects, and written assignments.


Participants will be required to complete a minimum of 85% attendance to receive the certificate.


$1,400 with registration on or prior to December 15, 2014
$1,550 with registration after December 15, 2014
(cost includes full tuition and all meals served on class days)
$500 Deposit required upon registration.

Continuing Education

Students who participate in the Two-Month Program will be eligible to continue their studies to earn a One-Year Certificate in Fundamentals and Living Wisdom of Ayurveda, offered from March 2015 - November 2015.
