Check out Gurukula style of Education

The Gurukula style of education, its methods, learning style and its expectations are entirely different from modern institutions that are teaching Ayurveda in objective, professional (and sometimes impersonal) manner, and testing the learning through grading of tests and quizzes.

To benefit from the intimate, immersion, experiential and lived education that Vedika Gurukula unfolds, the preparatory classes are an excellent way to get the feet wet and experience for ourselves the beauty and bliss of education that is lived and breathed-in versus memorized and graded.

This is also a good time to inquire of ourselves if we are ready to walk the spiritual path of Ayurveda, Yoga and Vedanta the dedicated way...as shown by the sages?

Receive Invitation form Vedika Guru to Initiate Education

Traditionally, the Gurukula education is by invitation only to only those seekers who are ready emotionally and in every other way to embark upon the beautiful but sometimes more demanding path of Gurukula education...as it entails personal transformation along with learning of skills to transform others body, mind and soul.

Hence, the preparatory classes are the opportunity of master to observe the student (shishya pariksha); and for student to assess the teacher (Guru Pariksha) -so that long term relationship - which is the mode of transmission as well as foundation of transformation - can be happily established in trust and mutual recognition.

Prepare Students Mind to receive Knowledge

The preparatory classes are spiritual by nature as they prepare and nurture the student's mind to receive the profound wisdom and science of Ayurveda, Yoga and Vedanta...much like hardened soil is first tilled and mixed with nutritious fertilizers, before the seed is lovingly planted.
