Vaidya Mandar Bedekar is a widely traveled Ayurveda doctor, Panchakarma therapist, academician and Sanskrit scholar. He is a Professor of Ayurveda at B. M. Kankanwadi Ayurverda College in Belgaum, Karnataka, India and is visiting faculty at Vedika Global.
Vaidya Bedekar has taught complementary medicine in Middlesex University in UK and Tel Aviv University in Israel. He has established an Ayurveda clinic in Johannesburg, South Africa. He provided editorial assistance to the world’s largest Sanskrit dictionary project, and has also worked hard to make ancient Ayurvedic knowledge in Sanskrit texts easily accessible through the Ayurvedic Dietetics and Triskandha Kosha Project. He was an 'Honorary Physician' with the Nanal Hospital, Pune during the mid-90s. He regularly writes columns on Ayurveda in Marathi.
Vaidya Bedekar holds a Doctor of Medicine degree in Ayurveda with a specialisation in Ayurvedic Physiology.
