Ongoing moral and educational support to graduates

“Education means that process by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, and intellect is sharpened, as a result of which one can stand on one’s own feet. ”

- Swami Vivekananda

All too often, graduates from mainstream professional colleges and institutions lose steam after graduation. They feel lost, fearful and doubtful of their skills once they have completed the course with its prescribed number of hours. Teaching is suddenly "over" once the "certificate" is in hand. In the real world, without support from mentor or Guru, a student can often feel overwhelmed, finding the path of healing full of pitfalls, tricky and even dangerous.

Vedika Gurukula is a family that stays in touch with its graduates. And this relationship never comes to an end. Students who have begun serving their communities will be welcomed home at any time. They can plug into ongoing classes, seek teachers' guidance on difficult cases, and of course remain connected to and serve in Vedika’s humanitarian projects worldwide.
