SHREYAS DEREK COUSINEAU
Shreyas Derek Cousineau is Vedika Global’s Kitchen Seva team lead, who coordinates Ayurvedic cooking and meal preparation for the Vedic Spiritual Studies Program and the 1-Year Ayurveda Self-Healing Course. He has also volunteered as a Vedic Spiritual Studies Program Online Community Discussion Forum manager, and writes frequently for the Program’s blog and Hamsa Magazine. Shreyas has studied with Acharya Shunya since 2016.
He is a Molecular Biology Research Associate at the Gladstone Institute of Neurological Disease, an affiliate of UCSF and has a bachelor’s degree in Molecular Environmental Biology from UC Berkeley.
Shreyas has found Acharya Shunya’s teachings to be life-changing knowledge, rare to find, and profound, as they are taught in such a real and approachable manner. He appreciates the opportunity her teachings are giving him to re-learn how to feel, how to care, and how to love, and to internalize these teachings through his involvements in seva (selfless service).
