VEDIC SPIRITUAL STUDIES PROGRAM DETAILS
As the one fire, after it has entered the world, though one, takes different forms according to whatever it burns, so does the internal Self of all living beings, though one, takes a form according to whatever it enters and is outside all forms.
— Katha Upanishad, 2.2.9
From Dean of Vedic Spiritual Studies Program
Dear Spiritual Seeker,
It gives me great joy in welcoming you to Acharya Shunya’s Vedic Spiritual Studies Program. Here, sincere spiritual seekers from all over the world are led on a profound journey of Self discovery with the lens of wisdom gleamed from the timeless Vedic texts, and Advaita Vedanta philosophy, as expounded in the Upanishads and Bhagwad Gita, as well as select Ayurveda and Yoga texts focused on activating an inner awakening, ultimately leading to spiritual enlightenment, self actualization and self realization.
This ongoing membership-based program is taught by our Acharya, who is the holder of a one thousand plus year old lineage of Vedic master teachers and dharma activists from Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, in northern India. Student members study ancient texts with the Acharya, meditate, contemplate and perfect sadhana (9 step spiritual discipline) in a conscious community of seekers.
By studying original wisdom with a traditional teacher and connecting to a greater truth and potential within, students begin to benefit from integrating these ancient teachings into their modern lives. Sadasyas report improved relationships, calmer minds, better understanding of their emotions, a sustained ability to maintain perspective in turbulent situations, as well as greater clarity and freedom in their day-to-day lives. As students' minds calm down, their external lives become more peaceful, and their internal awareness deepens.
I encourage you to come and experience a live discourse by Acharya Shunya for yourself, either in person (if you live in the Bay Area) or online, by clicking here.
I look forward to talking with you soon.
Love and light,
Aparna Amy Lewis
Dean of Vedic Spiritual Studies Program
