Transferring large folders from Dropbox to OneDrive
Lately I’ve been cleaning up some old client archives, and I realized a bunch of our biggest folders are still sitting in Dropbox with all the nested subfolders intact. Since we’re moving everything to OneDrive at work, I’m worried that doing it manually will mess up the structure or break some of the shared directories. Has anyone found a reliable way to move large folder trees over without spending hours dragging things around or re-sorting everything afterwards?

When I had to deal with a similar migration last year, I didn’t trust the classic “download and re-upload” method because it tends to scramble timestamps and sometimes even loses tiny files. I tried a cloud-to-cloud tool I found while reading about how to migrate dropbox to onedrive. What helped was that it copied the hierarchy as-is, including deeper levels I usually forget about. It wasn’t some magic shortcut, but it saved me a ton of manual sorting and kept the tree pretty much identical.
