These recognitions were not an endpoint. They signaled that the roots had taken hold. What began as a humble Gurukulam in 2007 had become a global center for authentic Vedic education.
Civic Recognition
The work that unfolded within the Gurukulam walls did not go unnoticed by the city that hosted it.
From 2008 to 2018, Vedika Global operated in Emeryville, California, offering sustained education, community programs, and public service rooted in Ayurveda and Vedic wisdom.
In acknowledgment of its contribution to community well-being and cultural education, the City of Emeryville formally recognized Vedika Global through an official proclamation issued by the Mayor.
This civic recognition affirmed that the work being done was not only spiritually grounded, but also socially meaningful.
What began with sacred fire rituals and disciplined study quietly became part of the civic fabric of its adopted home.
